About Me

If we haven’t met yet, I’m Taylor. A little bit about me-

I grew up in a very small town in the country in Iowa. My childhood was spent almost completely outside. I loved spending time with my family in the outdoors and my parents really instilled a love and appreciation for nature in me as a child. Growing up I always loved looking back on those memories as being some of my absolute favorites and it has always been my passion to capture those memories to preserve them for a lifetime. Coming from the art world, my mom is an exquisite painter and my dad an incredible woodworker. Watching them create through life has always inspired me to pave my own way in the art world while being able to incorporate my love for the outdoors as well. My purpose in this is because it’s something I truly believe is important. Moments are here and gone too quickly. Children grow in the blink of an eye. Your baby suddenly has a 5 year birthday party and you wonder where the time went. Memories are more precious than gold in my opinion and I truly feel blessed to have the clients that I do trust me to capture their families in their most precious moments.

With that, I understand life gets hectic, things get in the way and photos aren’t your top priority. I get it.. give me 30 minutes of your time... That’s seriously all it takes.

I’m a pretty chill person, I’m not the photographer that’s going to fuss the wind blown hair, make your child stop playing in the grass and calm everyone down. I aim for the genuine moments in your family. I’m going to let you do you and capture JUST THAT. I aim to tell your story through these photographs for the generations to follow to feel, not just see.
